All players ages 10-16 welcome
The Swamp Monkeys is a 501c(3) nonprofit kids paintball team whose main goal is having fun. The group includes players from ages 10 to 16 years old and strives to become a team of outstanding paintball players with a focus on integrity, respect and leadership.
Membership cost is $40.00 per month paid to the group account on the first of each month. This account will be used to pay for t-shirts and jerseys. If funds are available travel and admission to scenario games will be partially or fully paid .
Free admission and all day air to Battlefield Orlando, free rentals, team shirts (after 4 practices), admission to team practices, team jerseys (after 6 months), scenario game admission for home and away games, and additional products such as stickers, headbands, barrel covers and/or patches, is included for the membership cost.
This team will represent Battlefield Orlando Paintball Park at home and away games and must represent the park in a positive light. The players in this group MUST be respectful, demonstrate leadership, and be continually improving their skills as a player.
All required paperwork must be completed and turned in prior to acceptance on the team. Dues must be up to date prior to admission to practice or admission to the park.
Although attending practices is not mandatory, improvement in skills will be expected. Practices will be led by the team coaches and will include classroom and field drills. Team members will be required to pass basic skill tests prior to attending games as a team member.
Team members will be expected to support Battlefield Orlando Paintball Park by assisting the Ref or Counter staff if requested. Tasks may include set up, clean up or junior ref responsibilities. All team members will be eligible to take the Ref Class at no cost only an orange or yellow shirt and quality paintball mask will be required.
Team members will be expected to be positive role models for younger players at the field.
All that is required of the parents is to fill out and sign the paperwork and support their team member as much as possible. Any additional support is greatly appreciated by the Battlefield Orlando staff and team coaches. Assistant coaches, team moms, and chaperones (for away games) will be needed to meet and surpass team goals and objectives. Parents can also consider donating a cooler of iced bottled water to a practice or set up a carpool for practices and scenario events.
